computer (ELA, Math & Science) this year was 5th grade.

Walk-able Field Trips: Creating field trip directory and providing to our P.S. 31 teachers to roll out how best to get our parents excited to participate.

PTA president and secretary invited parents to review the October minutes and then nominate for approval, at 8:25 a.m., four parents had cast their votes in favor of approval.
A first-grade parent wants to share that, in light of the lack of financing and parental support, the first-grade parents have decided to take a step back at this time, having previously tried to recruit a para to help with our classroom sizes.There was an open discussion about how we, as a community, should approach the council for district 14 and ask them about the $2 billion and how that budget is being spent.

Attendance: 75 parents' combination of online and in person
Our PTA President, Ms. Fernandes began the meeting by speaking of creating a loving new space for P.S. 31 with implementing slight changes such as our P.S. 31 Logo in addition to our P.S. 31 website.
Voter Approval to review minutes for September and October together for November’s PTA Meeting
**Book Nook:Plans to begin will be for the beginning of January 2024**
2023/2024 PTA Budget
**Assemblies our PTA has budgeted $15,000 and we are looking at spending $2,000 total on each assembly**
**Field Trips our PTA has budgeted $10,000**
**Spirit Day P.S. 31 will be starting to bring back **
**Charleston Wrap PTA has fundraised $2,600**
**P.S. 31 Fall Festival is a thank you to our community, parents, and students for all the PTA challenging work from last school year.**½ of the event will be free of charge and ½ of the event will be P.S. 31 fundraising
**P.S. 31 Water Cooler: PS 31 currently only has 1 functioning filtered fountain water which is on the 1st flr., we have several students who are unable to utilize the fountain water due to the heavy traffic P.S. 31 is currently looking into purchasing a Water Cooler for our 3rd flr.**
**Principal Ms. Scarlato shared that we received funding for a new sound system**
**1st Grade Para: Voting will be October 30th.**

Attendance: 50 parents' combination of online and in person
Our PTA President, Ms. Fernandes, began the meeting by giving us the "run of the show" and quickly discussing each issue that would be covered.
2023-2024 academic year in addition to upcoming fundraising and events. Picture Day is coming up soon, and a portion of the sales will benefit the PTA. 40% of revenues from Charleston Wrap will be the PTA profit. This year's Fall Fest will be held on October 14, and our PTA is currently working flyers to distribute to our community and families. P.S.31 PTA will organize a movie screening related to (Chess) showing November 6, December 11-15 is our PTA winter shopping week. Our PTA is hosting a talent show for our parents in the month of February with the theme as "professional talents vs. silly talents."**
**Organizing assemblies at our P.S. 31 school, celebrating our PTA's International Day Heritage, and paying for each student to receive a shirt to wear just on field trips are all things that are still to come.
P.S. 31 Spring fundraising event, where we raised $55,000 the previous year, and a field day in June to wrap up our busy year.**
